OUR GOAL
To achieve ORAL HEALTH FOR ALL and zero the tooth loss,KDC has productively used the following approach of generating awareness about the importance of oral hygiene and regular dental checkups.
Dental health exhibitions are held on regular basis primarily to make the people aware about the commonly occurring dental diseases, its prevention and latest treatment modalities available for the same. Oral health talks on different platforms are done to generate awareness about the importance of good eating habits, proper brushing techniques, commonly occurring dental diseases, its prevention. Dental checkup camps in schools, old age home, and BAL sadan etc for early diagnosis/treatment to prevent tooth loss. Publications in form of annual magazines UTKARSH, quarterly news letter, regular articles in newspaper, posting regular literature on the website are attempts towards patient education for providing awareness among masses about importance of oral health. Patient Education Programmes are being conducted from time to time by the efficient staff of the clinic to make the people more aware about dental diseases and its management. CD's and VIDEO films are being used for this purpose. Museum depicting History of Dentistry for the benefit of dentist and general public. It is dedicated to pioneers in evolution of dentistry and how modern dental practice reached to its present level. Display Museum having models depicting parts of tooth, types of tooth brushes, type of dentures,various procedures etc. for patient education.
OUR CAUSE
With a missionary zeal to reach the people who are unable to afford the dental treatment:
Free checkups camps in rural areas, slums, orphanages, old age homes etc. for diagnosis and then for free treatment at our premises is an humble attempt to help the under privileged. We provide free complete dentures etc in collaboration with NGO's like Rotary club, Lion's club, Dental Awareness Society etc to those who genuinely cannot afford them. We have been the pioneers in providing 15% discount to the Senior Citizens of Panchkula who came to us through organizations like Senior Citizens Council and Retired Officer's Association thus expanding miles of smiles in their blessings.
