1. Smile Month Inaugrated for teachers of all government Schools By DPI Schools on 3rd September at Sector 10 Model . 600 teachers contacted and 125 teachers examined.
2. Camp organized at Blood donation Society, Rotary Club, Chandigarh. on 5th September.Total 300 teachers contacted and 137 teachers examined.
3. Camp organized at Manav Mangal Smart School,Mohali for the students of Palsora Colony and all students given oral health kits.Total 171 students examined and given free treatment.
4. The Dental Health Awareness Society received state honors for voluntary services in Dental Health Education on 21st of September 2008.
OCTOBER 2008
Dental Health Carnival from 1st October to 8th October. Total 2000 students contacted and 1431 examined. About 2000 students from different schools participated in this annual event .Besides the exhibition the visiting students were given demonstration of right brushing methods,oral health talk on dental diseases and management. The grand finale had about 100 students participating in interschool quiz, essay writing, slogan and poster making contests. The winners were awarded the tooth fairy trophies.The maximum participation trophy went to MRA model school and best oral hygiene trophy was picked by Gurukul.

2. Launch of E-book on 14th November At Vatika Deaf and Dumb School and 100 students examined.
3. Rural health camp at Fatehgarh and 115 residents examined and advised treatment.

1. Dental checkup camp at St Anne's school on monthly meet of Convents.500 people contacted and 212 members including family members examined.
2. Multi speciality dental checkup camp at Press Club Chandigarh and talk on revolutionary advancements in dental technology in the New millennium.
