| Savlon Dip |  |
- After use the instruments from each patient are dipped in saturated solution of Savlon for 24 hours. |

 | Biosonic unit
|
- The instruments are kept in the Biosonic cleaner for 20 minutes to shake off all the debris.
|
|
| Autoclaving | 
|
- After scrubbing and washing these instruments, they are properly wrapped and subjected to autoclaving cycle in a steam autoclave. Smaller instruments and hand pieces are autoclaved separately in a Kavoclave.

|
|
|
 | Storage
|
- After the sterilization cycle of 121 degree Celsius for 15 minutes and 15 pounds pressure is complete, the instruments are taken out of the drums and stored in a U.V cabinet where UV rays keep them sterilized for 24 hours.

| Surface Disinfection | 
|
- of all operations surfaces and dental units is done using disinfectants like Bacillocid every day. Special care is taken to clean the spittoons and machinery in use after each patient. Cellophone is used to cover the most touched parts of the dental units and is changed after every patient.

|
 | Disposables
|
- To have a fool proof system of checking cross infections, disposable glasses, bowls, patient instrument trays, gloves, masks, suction tips and patient napkins are used for each patient. The used plastic are disposed off by burning them in a pit to prevent their re use.

| Waste management | 
|
- The clinic is affiliated to Bio-Medical waste management authority of Haryana. All the waste is packed in separate color coded bags and is taken care of by the Biomedical waste management board.

 | Sterile packs
|
- We have introduced individualized sterile packs that contain the instruments as in the photograph. Our patients are reassured when a new pack of supplies is opened in front of them prior to treatment.
